Donny Osmond, former teen idol of The Osmond Brothers, will visit the Netherlands on April 15th and 16th to share his thoughts about his faith, his belief in Jesus Christ, and how he knows families can be together forever. During this visit, Donny will speak to audiences in at Utrecht and Rotterdam.

Donny began his entertainment career at the age of 5, performing with his brothers on the popular Andy Williams Show. During the early 1970s, he and his sister, Marie, co-starred in a highly successful worldwide television program: The Donny and Marie Show. Since he began entertaining audiences, Donny has sold more than 80 million records throughout his career.

With these and other successes in the music industry, Donny took on the leading role as Joseph on stage and in the film production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, which had an impressive six-year run throughout Canada and The United States.

His recent and diverse performing career includes acting the part of Gaston in Beauty and the Beast on Broadway; hosting his own television talk show and game show; winning the American version of Dancing With The Stars; and currently hosting The Donny Osmond Radio Show, which is syndicated in North America, Australia and parts of Europe.

Today, Donny and his sister continue to entertain sold-out crowds in Las Vegas, Nevada in the The Donny and Marie Show, which is going into its 3rd straight year at The Flamingo.

Donny and his family are active members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, commonly known as The Mormons.

In The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, it is customary for young men at the age of 19 to serve as missionaries for two years. Of Donny’s five boys, three have served missions in England, Italy and Scotland. Christopher, Donny’s fourth son is currently serving in the Netherlands. His fifth son anxiously awaits his opportunity to serve.

Elder Christopher Osmond shared his thoughts about what it is like to be the son of a famous father and his ongoing service as a missionary for the Church.

President Brubaker, Elder Osmond’s mission president, invited Donny to give three firesides, where he will share some of the basics of his faith, and how families can be together forever.

For information about these firesides, visit The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Netherlands Website.
